Provide customers with low-priced professional ore products and high-quality and efficient services
Kaolin raw ore generally contains two types: clay minerals and non clay minerals. Clay minerals are mainly kaolinite group minerals, followed by hydromica, montmorillonite, and chlorite. Non clay minerals mainly include quartz, feldspar, mica, as well as aluminum oxides and organic compounds (plant fibers, organic peat, and coal).
The plasticity, adhesiveness, certain drying strength, sinterability, and post firing whiteness of kaolin make it the main raw material for ceramic production; Flake shaped particles, pure white, soft, highly dispersed. The process properties such as adsorption and chemical stability make it widely used in the paper industry. In addition, kaolin and calcined kaolin are also used in rubber, plastics, coatings, chemical and petroleum refining, building materials, refractory materials, pesticides, aerospace and other fields.
Calcination is one of the important processing techniques for kaolin. By calcining and processing kaolin, structural water or crystal water, carbonaceous matter, and other volatile substances are removed, resulting in the formation of metakaolin, which is called calcined kaolin. Calcined kaolin has high whiteness, small capacity, large specific surface area and pore volume, good oil absorption, covering and wear resistance, high insulation and thermal stability.
